Connecting the people who provide recovery with the people who make it possible

Clubtogether Rehabilitation & Retreats Summit and Awards 2027, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Why this summit exists

Recovery rarely happens in one place. Someone finishing cancer treatment, leaving an addiction service or relearning to walk after a stroke may be supported by a hospital team, a GP, a charity, a private clinic, a physiotherapist, an employer and sometimes a retreat, all at once or one after another.

The people who provide that recovery (rehab clinics, cancer support services, physiotherapy and neuro-rehabilitation teams, retreats and complementary therapists) and the people who refer, fund and support it (NHS teams, GPs and social prescribers, employers, insurers, employee assistance programmes and charities) seldom have time together.

This summit gives them that time: a professional day, a public day for patients, survivors and families, and an awards night that celebrates the best rehabilitation and recovery work across the North of England.

What we stand for

  • Support, not cures. Everything at the summit is presented as support, wellbeing and quality of life. No exhibitor, speaker or sponsor may claim to treat or cure cancer.
  • Accessible to everyone. Some visitors will be mid-treatment, older or living with fatigue or sight loss. We plan for that from the start.
  • Fair awards. Independent judges, published criteria, and no sponsorship can buy a result.
  • Honest information. We only name partners, speakers and supporters once they have confirmed.
